Meyer Mortgage is proud to have remained steadfast to our principals during the most recent subprime mortgage crisis. We took the position to avoid ill-advised loans for the industry and consuming public—never getting involved in reckless lending. Like some other financial institutions we could have financially profited at the expense of good business practices, but chose to protect our clients. Whereas many banks and mortgage brokers no longer exist, we’re still here . . . having financed hundreds and hundreds of homes over the years.

Meyer Mortgage Corporation started in a small, two-room office with Meyer and only one other employee. During the first four years the company grew in both physical space and number of employees, and by 1993 there was a definite need for substantially more space. This need was met by the Meyer Building, built at 1280 Fairway Street in Hartland, now the permanent home of Meyer Mortgage.
Family-owned, Meyer Mortgage continues to help people realize their dreams by offering a variety of residential loan programs for home ownership. Serving Bowling Green as well as communities throughout South Central Kentucky, we are experienced in strategic lending solutions.
